Rapala’s Tropical Sun Gloves are designed to offer protection against abrasions and sunburn when casting all day under the hot sun. The exposed fingertip design facilitates easy knot tying without having to remove the gloves when the need arises.

Made of comfortable yet durable UPF 30+ Lycra material that is both lightweight and quick dry. The Tropical Sun Gloves are also fitted with strategically positioned synthetic leather for maximum dexterity and protection. Available in sizes S/M, M/L and L/XL

Team Reidy’s Lures/ Lowrance win the 2012 Team of the Year on a count back over the Rapala – ACM Rods, with both teams getting 299/300 points.

With the barra fishing at it best on Awoonga and Monduran during day light hours the decision has been made to modify the session times for the Squidgies Awoonga Evening Event (Nov 30- Dec 1) and the Warlock Monduran Evening Event (Dec 3-4th).

The session times will be brought forward from the scheduled (3pm-10pm) to morning and early afternoon hours (6am-1pm).

The decision to change the session times haven’t been made lightly and has been done after lengthy discussions with anglers and organizers. With the fishing being tough on both water waterways over the last two years we believe changing the event session times to the dominant bite time at present will maximize anglers likelihood of catching fishing and in turn make for a better event.
